ABOUT US

Explore Bach's Cantatas!

Directed by Derek Tam, the Berkeley Bach Cantata Group (BBCG) welcomes all singers interested in exploring the Bach cantatas in a supportive environment. During each session, we typically read through two cantatas. Any singer who is prepared to perform a vocal solo is encouraged to take advantage of the singing opportunities by singing one of the arias or recitatives, accompanied by a small group of skilled amateur players.
